This is the third week of summer camp. I started our hostel life which was great as I did not have much chance to experience before. Living with classmates was full of fun like cooking and playing together. Also, it is extremely convenient to go to the classroom to have the lesson. Thus, it is great to live in the hostel although I miss my family.

Besides living in the hostel, I visited RTHK, attended two workshops, copywriting and journalism and small acappella workshop this week. This was a fruitful week.

Visiting RTHK let me understand that how difficult to be a professional DJ who can able to host and make a programme meaningful and entertaining. Finding our own identical voice is also important to be a successful host. But I am not a talkative person so being a DJ is not an option for me.

On that night, I attended an amazing acappella workshop. Musepaper is the guest speaker and performer. They were performed excellently and taught us some basic skill to sing acappella. The workshop was wonderful so I can’t wait for the next acappella workshop.

The copywriting workshop invited many guest speakers to share their experiences in different careers so I gain a lot and started to think my future. I think learning languages does mean that I have to be a teacher or journalist because every industries need people who have great language skills. This is the most inspiring point of view that I learnt from the guest speakers.

The journalism workshop enabled me to concern more current issue and try to be a journalist which I never imagined that I can report news in the future. The workshop let me think. This is because some newspapers have their own stance and mislead the readers. We should have critical thinking when we read a piece of news article.
