Summer Camp Reflective Report RSS
Summer Camp Week 3 RSS
This week was a week of copyrighting and journalism.
For the first two days morning, I went to work as an assessment administrative assistant of TSA 2012 in Wong Tai Sin. Because of that, I missed the first two lessons of copyrighting, this made me feel sorry to Michele. Therefore, I attended the third lesson with expectation, together with confusion. Fortunately, the next three lessons were all speeches given by some guest speakers. It made feel more relaxed. And everything went smoothly.
For the afternoon lessons, which were journalism, I gained much useful and informative knowledge. Every lesson, we had two groups presenting two hot news issues. Nearly all the presenters were becoming more and more mature when giving their presentations. They spent much time on preparation and doing research. When they came to the stage, they held a paper on hands to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I did appreciate their effort. I hope that when it comes to our group, we can prepare well and do better than them. Not for competition, but for self-achievement.
By the way, I started to stay in the hostel with my secondary schoolmate, Alice. It was a brand new experience and I enjoyed the experience very much.
Summer Camp Week 2 RSS
It seemed that everything went well and nearly perfect in week 2.
Regarding the Putonghua workshops, I felt most unforgettable and memorable. The activities required intensive cooperation within the team since everyone had his or her own role to play. We had built strong team spirits through the numberless practices and rehearsals. They really provided us with valuable opportunities to get close to each other and to know each other. I sincerely believe that we are the winners of this summer camp (not the competition) because we receive more than we sacrifice.
The talk held on Friday was quite relaxing ad meanwhile enrich my knowledge in the Putonghua test. I cannot 100% guarantee that I can meet the requirement, but at least I am not that frightened and afraid of the test. I find no reason to be scared by anything before you have fully prepared what you can prepare.
Summer Camp Week 1 RSS
The first week of the language camp gave me more than expected, though it made me feel tired and annoyed more than expected too.
The KFBG visit and the series of the Putonghua workshops provided me with a lot feelings, both positive and negative. The former made me want to scream due to the extremely hot weather . I enjoyed almost all of the programmes, talks and activities, but just felt annoyed with the high temperture. It would made happier and more willing to participate in if the temperture and the environment were more comfortable for us. The latter made me surprised because the tutors were nice and funny, and the activitives were maeningful and wonderful. Probably just because I love Putonghua as much as before so I enjoyed the workshops with exciting mood.
I hope the happiness can be more long-lasting so that I can really enjoy all the sections but not treat them as tasks or assessment.
