▼ When you have created portfolio pages (and collections), you may need to send the secret URL to your teacher or supervisor. Go to Portfolio > Share by me. If you do not want everyone to be able to see your page, but you would like to show it to a few people , then you can make your page visible to anyone through a special URL which is difficult to guess. You can let your friends or teacher know about your page by sending the secret URL via an email or Moodle assignment link.

▼ You'll go to a Share overview. You can create a secret URL or set the access permissions of your page or collection here.

▼ Click Edit secret URLs access next to the page you want to create a secret URL.

▼ Click Add to create secret URL for selected page.

▼ You can click the edit to restrict that access for a specific period of time.

Depend on your courses requirment. You can copy the secret URL and send to your supervisor via email or Moodle assignment link.

*If you are using the secret URL for submission of ePortfolio for your course, do not delete the secret URL generated in Mahara after submitting to your supervisors. The Mahara system will generate a new secret URL each time. Therefore, if you have deleted the link submitted, your supervisor will not be able to view your work!
