Thanks to the advanced development of mobile technology, the birth of applications break the barriers of time and space. Learners can learn different languages in any time they want by just simply clicking a button on their tiny tablets. Apart from this high mobility, the applications have provided us much more visual stimulation and various types of functions. There must be one application can suit your learning needs and taste. Learning has become fun and easy. I guess we should no longer have any excuse to be lazy and should embrace the boon in this age.

English Planet "超級單字王“
The first app I want to introduce is called “English Planet”. I suggest the game to those who have fundamental English level or poor patience. It is because this app is not only a learning tool, but it is a game.
We learn English through playing games here. First when we enter the app, we need to set a name for the cute pet and then can start to explore. The biggest advantage of the app is that it makes all the English exercises become games. We can get money when we finish checkpoints. Then, we can use those money to buy extra checkpoints and skip some levels to suit our learning needs. I think this learning mode is attractive enough as no one hates playing games. People will have interests to carry on learning.
Moreover, for the game content, it has grouped the test content from Dixon, GEPT, TOEIC and TOEFL and divided them into three major parts: vocabulary, spelling and listening. They have different playing methods and can help us train more specifically and strengthen our memory. Also, there are vocabulary test based on theme, e.g. emotions, animals, weathers and schools and challenges testing how many vocabularies you know. There is a ranking list and we can see our own ranking.
I appreciate the app developer whom I think they are thoughtful in designing the app. It is because there is a place where users can look back their recent mistakes. Also, users can mark down the vocabs they want in a notebook and then create their own tests. In the game, there is also over 8,000 standard pronunciation of vocabs by real people recording. They really sound nice.
The app is quite user-friendly and easy to use. If you agree that doing paper exercise is boring, you should download this app without hesitation.
