Export your Mahara ePortfolio page

To export your ePortfolio: 1. Choose Portfolio > Export. 2. You can export your Mahara ePotfolio page to two formats: Standalone HTML web site or Leap2A. Choose Standalone HTML web site to export HTML format which is readable in a standard browser. (preferred) or Choose Leap2A which makes it possible to migrate from one e-portfolio system to another without the need for a customised data migration solution, reducing the risk of data being ‘locked into’ one system. By default, All my data* was selected and Include user feedback was checked. *If you have slow Internet connection, it may takes many hours to export the entire eportfolio epecially if you have many pages. So you are recommended to select Just some of my pages or Just some of my collection. 3. To export selected pages, choose either Just some of my pages or Just some of my collections.
4. Click the page(s) or collection(s) that you want to export. You can choose Click to preview to preview the specific page. 5. Click Include user feedback to export the pages with feedbacks (Only if the pages contain feedbacks). 6. Click Generate export. |

7a. Wait a few second, a zip file will be generated and downloaded to your computer. 7b. You can click Continue to export other pages or collections (same as step 2 to step 6). |

8. Unzip the file. You will see a folder named portfolio-for-eportfolio and all html files and folders are stored inside. You can open the index.html to check the freshly exported eportfolio page in your computer. It is a good practice that always check the links and files after you have created a webpage (html or php file...etc).
