Last week was very excited because of the performance of the verse speech and drama. The visit to RTHK was a bit too short. The workshops about copywriting and journalism were informative but some are boring.

On Monday, everyone was just so frightened because that was the day we were going to perform our verse speech and drama. We were actually not very well-prepared. I still could not memorize the whole speech and the dialogue. At first, I thought standing on the stage was not really a matter. But I found it was creepy that everyone was staring at you and looking forward to your performance. Finally we did very well for the drama--- Cinderella. I found all of us enjoyed watching and playing drama. It’s really fun and the spirit of team work made me feel warm!

The visit to RTHK was ruined by the accident of the shuttle bus. But the visit was fairly satisfactory as the guide shared many of their experience and the requirements of broadcasting. I thought the time was too short. We only took a look at the broadcast room and we left.

The night activity was acapella. It made us so high! It was relaxing night!

The workshops of copywriting and journalism were informative. However, I would frankly say some of them were boring. The workshop of copywriting on Thursday confused me very much as I could not understand what he said, especially when he explained the idea behind the video called ‘’屋不是家’’. I just felt I was disconnected and I was like a fool staring at him and hearing a pile of weird saying. That’s just because I have no idea on art and media I thought.

For the workshop of journalism, I found that composing a news article was not that a serious matter. The tutor Jasmine told us the features and categories of news. Then we were asked to prepare a presentation about hot issues. We have to criticize the manners of news delivery by different media. It was interesting to reveal and analyze the aims behind the manners.
